Chakras
1. Root Chakra: The root chakra, also known as the Muladhara, is located at the base of the spine. It is associated with survival, stability, and grounding. This chakra influences feelings of safety, security, and connection to the earth.
2. Sacral Chakra: The sacral chakra, or Svadhisthana, is located just below the navel. It is linked to emotions, creativity, sexuality, and passion. This chakra influences how individuals experience pleasure, relationships, and self-expression.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra: The solar plexus chakra, or Manipura, is located in the upper abdomen. It is associated with personal power, confidence, and self-esteem. This chakra influences the ability to take control of one's life and set healthy boundaries.
4. Heart Chakra: The heart chakra, or Anahata, is located in the center of the chest. It is linked to love, compassion, and emotional well-being. This chakra influences the ability to give and receive love, form deep connections, and practice forgiveness.
5. Throat Chakra: The throat chakra, or Vishuddha, is located at the throat. It is associated with communication, self-expression, and truth. This chakra influences how individuals express their thoughts and feelings and communicate with others.
6. Third Eye Chakra: The third eye chakra, or Ajna, is located in the middle of the forehead, between the eyebrows. It is linked to intuition, insight, and perception. This chakra influences spiritual awareness and the ability to see beyond the physical world.
7. Crown Chakra: The crown chakra, or Sahasrara, is located at the top of the head. It is associated with spiritual connection, enlightenment, and higher consciousness. This chakra influences the ability to connect with the universe, access higher knowledge, and experience a sense of unity and oneness.
Meridians
1. Liver: The liver meridian is associated with the liver organ and the body's ability to detoxify and regulate the flow of qi (energy) throughout the body. It influences emotional balance, especially anger and frustration, and affects the health of tendons and muscles.
2. Gallbladder: The gallbladder meridian is associated with decision-making, courage, and judgment. It influences the health of the gallbladder organ and the smooth flow of bile. It also plays a role in supporting the liver meridian.
3. Spleen: The spleen meridian is related to digestion, nutrient absorption, and energy production. It influences emotional stability, particularly overthinking and worry, and affects the health of muscles and limbs.
4. Bladder: The bladder meridian runs along the back and influences the health of the urinary system and bladder organ. It is connected to the autonomic nervous system and can affect stress levels and energy flow along the spine.
5. Pericardium: The pericardium meridian, also known as the heart protector or circulation meridian, is associated with emotional balance, particularly in relationships. It influences heart function and circulation.
6. Small Intestine: The small intestine meridian is linked to nutrient absorption and digestion. It plays a role in emotional clarity and decision-making, especially regarding discernment and choice.
7. Large Intestine: The large intestine meridian is associated with the elimination of waste and detoxification. It influences emotional release and the ability to let go, both physically and mentally.
